We are responsible (response able) i.e. able to response positively (or negatively) to things that happen in our lives and subsequently determine its outcome (biiznillah):
"..Sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengubah apa yang ada pada sesuatu kaum sehingga mereka mengubah apa yang ada pada diri mereka sendiri..." (Arra'du: 11)
